All the wilderness run sign said was that it "Opened in 1979." And that "It's the perfect first coaster for the little thrill-seeker in the family." There was also a question as to what other ride opened the same year as wilderness run.

On the Iron Dragon sign, it says there are 3 coasters with 2 lift hills. I only know of CCMR. What is the third?

First time clicking on this thread and I really don't think after posting signs and puffing about their roller coaster history will lead to announcing "Pirate Ride 2.0". Come on!

It's a coaster and probably another record breaker.

Ya'll make me sad talking about Jumbo Jet, the year I was tall enough it was out of there. That's all I heard about growing up from my older brothers and cousins. Must have been one helluva ride.

There's two I know of in the world and riding one of them is on my bucket list.

I thought the 3 coasters with 2 lift hills would be Iron Dragon, Mine Ride, and Shoot the Rapids.

STR is definitely not a roller coaster. It's a flume ride.

And a really slow, boring, unreliable one at that.

I am in agreement that it shouldn't be, but doesn't CP consider STR a coaster to get to 16 coasters? Without STR I'm at a loss for what #16 would be.

There's the list. And STR is not on it. And I counted 17.

I was just looking that up and Pipe Scream would be the one I wasn't counting. Not sure how that is a coaster either.

In any event the 3rd coaster with 2 lifts has to be Gemini based upon the list on CP's website.
