Bringing 6 teenagers on Saturday, have some questions

For my daughters birthday, I am taking her and her friends to CP on Saturday. I am going to pack a cooler with stuff for lunch and dinner. I am also purchasing 2015 season passes for my family so we will each get one free admission, which is great. Actually, I am really excited for the season pass because the kids and I love CP and will hopefully take many daytrips next year! I have some basic questions though.

1.Which of the entrances do you like using and where do you like park?

2. Does CP allow me to park in the Soak City lot?

3. I was thinking about paying for the premium parking on Saturday. Should I leave the cooler in the car or drop it off in the picnic shelter?

4. I was considering eating one meal inside the park but I have 7 mouths to feed. Is there any food stands that have the best prices? We ate in Frontier Town? near the mine ride, at a taco joint, and I swear their prices were better than the main strip of Frontier Town.

Any suggestions for Halloweekend would be great, I've never been before!

1 & 2) Use the Soak City (you're allowed). Rides toward the back of the park are way less crowded in the morning and the rides in the front are generally less crowded in the evening.

3) Take the cooler to the shelter. No one will bother it and the premium parking lot is over by GateKeeper, the other side of the shelters.

4) It might be less expensive but try a One-day dining plan.

make sure hands are stamped(for re-entry) when leaving the park for the public pavilion or car.
As far as HalloWeekends,ENJOY,ENJOY,ENJOY !!!
don't forget a camera !

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to drop the cooler off at the picnic area and then park. I will have a camera! My question about the Soak City parking lot is answered. I walked past that lot many times this past summer during our stay at LHP, and I wondered if anyone was allowed to park there. I think I prefer entering through that entrance. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it!

+1 for the all-day dining. Btw, 1 deal can easily sustain 2 people, assuming those two people are comfortable enough with each other to be able to share meals.

Have a good day ? Report !
