Fast Lane Plus

Yesterday 7/5/14, was the first time I bought fast lane plus tickets. I must say it was worth the extra cost. We rode Maverick 3 times, and 10 other rides in about 9 hours. This gave us time to relax at the hotel, and watch fireworks from the beach at 10:30. I will admit, some of the scowls I saw from people we were passing in line were almost humorous. Lol! I would much rather skip purchasing a season pass and go once during the summer with fast lane plus. It's a much better experience.

I also caved and bought plus passes a couple weeks ago. However, I found I couldn't look at the people in line as I walked by. Especially at Maverick. I've been those people, and it is irritating to see people just walk onto rides.

^^I'd rather have a Platinum Pass and go as many times as I want during the season and have that hour of early entry. For example, I hit MF twice and Maverick four times between 9 and 10 am this morning. To each their own.

Oh so would I!! Platinum passes just aren't feasible with our schedule. Plus we are two hours away. We had our one trip to the Point this year.....waaah.

We're thinking about getting Platinum Passes for next year even though we live 2 1/2 hours away. We figure that even if we spent just a couple of days there next summer, along with a trip to Kings Island (which is an easy detour when travelling to see the in-laws) it'll be worth it.

Fast Lane Plus would definitely be worth it though if you could only go once and you knew it was going to be busy.

I prefer being able to get in quick rides that aren't always focused on a marathon session first thing in the morning. Like you wrote, to each their own.
