Hired!!!!

Got hired today to work as a ride host at GateKeeper!!! Super excited!! How does everyone like this ride?

Hey man!!! We have not heard from you in a while good job!!!! I love gatekeeper best ride in park if u ask me i rode it 50 times last season every single day i was on it either on my days off or after work if i had spare time. Guess I will visit you there when im off lol

Congrats!! I'll be at MIllennium Force but I'm hoping to ride GateKeeper a lot on my off days!

Lol you havent rode gate keeper yet? were have been? mars? lol

I'm from Chicago and I spend the vast majority of my time in Atlanta when I'm free because I have a standing internship down there. I got a full ride to Ohio State and I've only been to Cedar Point once because my majors are intense. This will be my first year working at CP and I'm grateful I got hired. So nope, not on Mars, just working my butt off doing other things.

Lol well thanks but might not come back anyways not saying I wont just saying i may be working at mesa verda national park!!! In colorado!!!! I put my app in tuesday n got a call yesterday i passed my first phone interview in two weeks ill get my second full interview and on boarding package i cant wait!!! But if the point calls before then ill oviously work there so i can ride gatekeeper 50 times again lol.

Gatekeeper is a ton of fun to operate for many reasons. There are a ton of positions to rotate around to keep you busy, the controls are very straightforward and user-friendly, you will run your butt off to make interval, and there are many good spiels you can come up with. Finally, who doesn't enjoy being flipped over six times in five different ways to start off your morning?

The only challenge that is somewhat of a drawback is enforcing the loose article policy if it remains the same for 2014. It can seem somewhat unclear on what is acceptable to go through the line and what is not. Just stick to your guns, keep a good eye out, and you will do just fine enforcing the policy. In the end, you will have some funny guest stories to tell about it.

Congrats! Gatekeeper seems like it would be a blast to operate. Hope you have fun on it this summer!
