So with no food in my room where is can I get food?

you can also buy food at the commons store if you can't get to meijers right now....

Warning: You better stock up on Flaming Cheetos - Commons store just can't keep those things on the shelf!
Also - there's a Subway in the Rec Center, but they don't do the any any any $5 foot longs.

Employee Cafeteria is cheap and decent. You won't have it in your room obviously but its lovely ion breaks and like I said, super cheap. Try not to get food from the common store to much...it's kinda pricey for the amount you get and it adds up fast. I've been doing that because I work either open to close or open to 6 every day and I am out 40 bucks now and I barely got anything t keep me satiated. My only chance to go and get food isn't till my day off Thursday. Stock up.
