You're right I have this spyware called Adobe Flash that unfortunately a lot of webmasters have used to create 'cool' effects on their websites including some big names you might recognize such as Youtube and Vimeo. Unfortunately I can't just uninstall it.

But thanks for your condescending, know-it-all attitude.

Vimeo allows you to select a Flash-free video player, and it defaults to it when there is no Flash. And yeah, I pay them $60 every year for a "plus" subscription.

Why does everyone block ads? Click through them. .

That has to be one of the dumbest rhetorical questions I've ever read on this forum. No offense.

Well regardless, the ads are clearly here to stay unless you wish to pay a fee. With the amount of information I've gathered through this site throughout the years (even before I was a member), I'm willing to click through ads or allow them to be such a "bother", in order to keep the site running.

I did. Haven't missed it at all. If a website insists on using Flash, Chrome takes care of it.

Apparently I am just doing it old school on my Firefox and Flash :)

Either way, haven't had a crash this week, so that's good.

And clicking through ads is good, especially if it's something you're interested in. I get a lot of ads on here that just aren't very relevant but I also get some decent ones and have clicked a few. The cost of running this site isn't something I'm oblivious to.

Ever since dumping Flash, I haven't felt the need to run ad blocking on any website. I ended up removing the plug-in.
