Help Me Decide on a Day...

I'm currently trying to decide on what day to hit the Point. I usually only get to go once a year so it's important that the lines aren't -too- long. I have searched on the web about Memorial Day weekend and I am obviously steering clear of the park that Saturday, but some people say the Sunday before is busy, some say it isn't, and the same for Memorial Day. I've read where people are walking onto rides on the actual holiday.

So I'm wondering if I should attempt for one of those days (it will be my first available weekend to go) or should I wait until the next Sunday?

Your best bet would be to go on Monday. Being that most people have Monday off they will be in the park on Saturday and Sunday and using Monday as a travel day.

Sunday will be packed too. Go on Monday it should be pretty dead.

Go on the second Tuesday in September. You'll practically have the place to yourself.

I would not go the Sunday before Memorial day. I would either go on Memorial day or wait until the next Sunday.

I am going next Sunday which is the one after Memorial day, Try then?

Due to other things I have planned I have decided to go on Sunday as it may end up being one of my few chances to go in the foreseeable future. If it's packed then I'm going to get the Fast Lane passes when I get in the park.

One thing I have noticed is there are still A LOT of hotels available in the area so maybe that's a good sign it won't be too ridiculous. Supposed to get pretty hot this weekend so maybe that will postpone plans for people also.

I guess I'll find out. The hotel is booked and the tickets are purchased..too excited to back out now!

Does anybody know if Friday tomorrow is a good idea as far as getting up there before the crowds do?
