Are they any different this year? I weight roughly the same as the last time I rode them and that was last June. Both were closed during my Halloweekend visit.

Hey, I was just about to ask the same question. . I haven't lost any weight this winter either, I was trying, but didn't work. I fit in MF and Dragster last year. Are the belts new, or shorter, did anyone notice a difference.

Heading there Wednesday, gonna try to fit anyways, but if anyone has a heads-up on if they are different, that would sure help.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

Not sure about MF and. TTD, but Magnum has some new belts this year. Also they are considerably shorter than the rest.

Dragster and Millennium both appeared to have new belts. I think I remember hearing that they try to make it priority to change them after each season due to wear and tear and being exposed to the elements for such a long time.

I didn't notice a change in Millennium's, and I didn't ride Dragster. Magnum's were considerably shorter, to the point where if you have issues on Millennium, you might very well have issues on Magnum too.

Thank you for the Magnum's Heads-Up. I hope I can still ride that one Wednesday. Interesting. Sound's Like MF and Dragster I shouldn't worry too much about.
I had about a half inch of seat belt available late last year on MF, and about an inch on Dragster.in just a T-shirt and Jeans,no jacket. It was cold at 50 degrees in a T-shirt. :)

On Magnum it appeared that only one train had the new shorter belts, while the other two had the longer old ones.

I'll be there Sunday and will see how they are, I have always had them really tight and not much slack, on MF and TTD but I lost about 35 lbs over the winter, and lost a few inches around my waste, so it should be a lot easier this year. So when I go I'll see if still tight, if it is, then they may be shorter. Hope not.

i guess, not to get too personal, at what height and weight are you running into problems? Waist size? I am 6' and 240. Waist is 37" I havent had issues until last fall. size 40 jeans. I had hit 250 and it was a tight fit. I'm sure it has a lot do do with where the weight is concentrated.

I am 5ft 11in tall, 235 lbs, I am a 41 waist (42 pants loose, 40 pants tight) I need help getting Wicked Twister closed, by swishing my stomach fat. I really don't fit into Mantis, the harness don't really click until the bottom of the first hill, other than that just the seat belt is holding the harness closed, and it is tight. Raptor I get squished if it clicked to the second click, comfortable on the 1st latch. seat belt loose. Maverick no problem what so ever, power tower no problem. Skyhawk get 3 to 5 clicks. Corkscrew's harness kinda stays at about a 45 degree angle, never really goes down where it should, my shoulders are too high. (Oh is that too personal) :)
My perfect weight for these rides is 225lbs. I usually get to that weight by May, but this year it didn't happen.

I rode both this weekend. TTD was very tight and I'm about 20 lbs lighter than when I rode last year. MF, which I didn't ride last year, was no problem getting done. It wasn't loose. But, wasn't cutting in me in half like in the past. All 3 trains got new ones. But look for the bright red handle straps. Tony told me ahead of time what to look for. I did notice a few old ones still on trains.

When riding TTD, ride-op would not help my wife fasten hers. He just kept telling her what to do and then she finally got it.

So, conclusion is TTD might give you more problems than MF this year.

I only rode twice, and I didn't pay attention to which train I was on, so it's entirely possible that this is true.

I was 6'3" 285, bout 40 in waist, and it was really tight, haven't recently measured, but my 40 inch pants now have 3-4 inches slack, I am still 6'3", obviously :), and now 250, so we'll see when I go how much difference these new belts make it.

Just returned from my Wednesday Visit. Crowd was small, most everything was a walk on, Dragster was a 15 min wait, got on one ride, and the seat belt had only about a half of an inch left, so most likely Dragster's belt hasn't changed.
But MF's Seat Belt is a lot LONGER. I had at least 3 inches of belt left, I usually only have about a half of an inch. I got one ride on MF, about a 20 minute wait. Yeah, I know, I should of rode both of them more than once today.

Wicked Twister was the same length, my daughter squished me and attached the seat belt before she sat down.
(Just a note, I tried the Test Seat, and its belt is exactly the same as on the ride, my daughter helped latch me in the test seat before we went on the ride)

Magnum Seat Belts were shorter, I had about a half inch to 1.0 inch of belt on that one.
Super Himalaya seat belt was tight, and so was Mine Ride's Seat Belt.
Maverick was the same as last year, got 2 rides before 10am on that after the rain stopped at 9:30am. Maverick started at 9:40am.
(Sarcasm to follow) I looked and looked and Wildcat was nowhere to be seen, and I wanted to ride that one too. :)

"Just returned from my Wednesday Visit."

Thanks for the info there, now could I be really rude and ask what your waist measurment is, so I've got an idea if I'll fit in 4 weeks?

Already mentioned it earlier in this forum, I wear size 42 pants, I am a 41 waist, 40 pants are too tight, 42 pants are loose. I am 5 ft 11 in, 235lbs.

It actually felt really good fitting that easily into MF, Dragster is pushing the size of the belt, but I had 1/2" belt to spare, so that's good.

The question I'm dying to hear answered was how was your ride on Snake River Falls? ;)

Great to hear you had a good trip.
