They have daily specials. It's not all that expensive. There's a few other bars I prefer over Louie's.

The Old Dutch reminds me of a white trash kinda bar from the looks of it, but really it's one of the only places in town where most people go. That and BW3. Daly's is downtown too, but it seems as if that area just keeps getting lower and lower. I guess that's what happens when the whole city is a pit.

Quick news note... Inside sources say that Louie's may be going 21 and older this season.. There was what is being described as "a reported underage consumption" inncident this past weekend...

It's a simple law people.. don't mess it up for everyone else...

Breakwater,
I prefer BW3, which is in the plaza, Cheer's, which is in the Sandusky Mall, and Gerold's Old Tavern. I forget what street it's on but it's right before you get to the plaza and the mall. Chet and Matt's is really cool too. Last year on Monday nights you could get Lite beer for 99 cents with the dinner buffet. Hope they still have that deal.

Thanks Penguin. I am sure that I'll get to check other bars than Louies, but its good to know you have a close standby. Its also good to know that we have some variety as well. I just look forward to meeting everyone, and raising a toast.

Honestly...... Louie's...... how many times do you need to get busted and fined for allowing minors to drink? And just now they want to make it 21 and above..... What takes so long?

If Louie is reading these posts, I just want to tell him to stock up on jagermeister this summer, because I'm coming to town.

When i worked at CP from 90-94, they didn't require you to work at CP at first! There was fighting all the time between the locals and employees! So, i believe that is why they separate them at some point now. You could always count on seeing a good fight there, especially on the weekends, and yes the police usually showed up to help break it up. Does louies still have those huge long island ice teas??
