There are alot of discounts for local retailers. I won't list them here, mostly because I can't remember them all:), but CP has a pamphlet that lists them all. There are also discounts for some on point shops. Such as 10% in the Pagoda on certain days during certain hours. I would suggest grabbing a pamphlet when you process in or when you sign in to housing for your room.

You can also get discounts on CP tickets to buy for family and friends, not to mention the 4 courtesy tickets you get if you work there for a month or more.

Personally I really enjoy the 10% discounts at the various restaurants in Sandusky. I wish they had a discount at TGI Friday's. Probably because that both of them are owned and operated by CP.

Can you ever get the day off, and on those days can you get in free?

Of course you get days off (1 each week), until the very end of the season when staffing is so low. Your employee ID is free admission not only to the park, but also to Soak City! You have to pay for other Challenge Park attractions, however. Check out my website (below) for more CP employee benefits/information.

Often, too, your supervisors will try to give you the same day off each week so that you can plan ahead if friends/family want to visit, or they'll try to give you an early shift the day before and a late shift the day after, so that you can have the most time off as possible.
