I am a food hostess and i was wondering what you actually do.

what do the uniforms look like for my job as a food host

It depends on what location you are at like if you are in Franchised foods, or what cafe, etc. Also as a hostess you are responsible for seating people and welcoming them.

Typically a food host uniform is blue shorts or pants. With a green plaid shirt. They aren't that pretty but, then again, everybody is wearing them, so nobody cares.

In regards to your actually position duties, you;ll be working food prep, serving food, running cash register, cleaning. That's essentially it.
