If they thought that the success of a christian music concert in the Cincy area would translate into success of a christian music concert in Sandusky, they really do not understand their audience very well.

As best I can tell, it was all initiated by the concert promoter, not the park. I doubt the park would lose money in any way.

Is the Sandusky audience that much different than the Cincy audience?

Far more important...

Kings Island is less than a half hour from all of Cincinnati.

Cedar Point is less than a half hour from nowhere in particular.

I would expect that more people would be inclined to go to Kings Island just for a concert than would go to Cedar Point for exactly that same reason. I don't care who is headlining. Which means that at Cedar Point the concert is likely competing with the park for attention from people who happen to be there just to visit the park.

Next year they need Kanye West and Taylor Swift...together on the same stage. That would get some national attention. ;)

^^Agreed a concert like this could possibly "sell out" Cedar Point. I know there isn't an official capacity but this would be as close as you would get to one. They would have to turn people away especially since there would not be anywhere to park the cars because there isn't the soak city to use.

I don't know how much I would like that concert. I mean, Taylor wouldn't get to finish any of her songs.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
