My Obsession

Hey, Majin, where do you go boarding at? If you haven't been to Mt. Brighton, it is a must go. Great half pipe and terrain park. I skiboard and ski. Alot of time you can act like you're on a roller coaster, when you go up the chairlift, you can act as the lifthill and going down the hill and over a few jumps can feel like the drop and some airtime.

APForce, are you from Brighton? I am and I go Mt. Brighton. I ski too.

APForce, I hadn't been to Mt. Brighton but I went last week - it does have a great pipe and park. I usually go to Mt. Holly, Alpine Valley, or Pine Knob. I also skiboard part of the time - I like both. If you want huge jumps, try Pine Knob. It is a small place, but the focus is around the terrain park. In fact they are having a slopestyle competition in a couple weeks. Yeah i could imagine going up the first hill of Raptor with a snowboard or skiboards attatched to my feet just like on a chair lift. Of course, after that, I would fear for the strength of the bones in my legs!!!

To answer the first question, no. I live in Allen Park, which is just south of Dearborn. The reason I go to Brighton alot is because is my dad lives in Ann Arbor, which is like 30 min. south of Brighton.

As for Pine Knob, I go there jut about every Friday with my ski club. I haven't been able to hit any jumps there, because I usually bring my skis and I usually rent skiboards(or snowblades, whatever you call them!). The Wall's at both Brighton and Pine Knob are wicked, though.

How are Alpine Valley and Mt. Holly?
