Romance at the Point

WDW has had books written for couples detailing the romantic possibilities there. Does the Point have romantic opportunities for couples? YES! Consider a room at the Breakers overlooking the lake at sunrise or sunset. A leisurely stroll down Frontier Trail amongst the trees holding hands with your SO. When I worked on the Rapids back in the day, the main lift hill was apparently a nice romantic spot based on the things I saw.

What places, rides, etc have brought the romance out between you and your SO when visiting CP? (PG rating please).

My daughter was conceived at the Breakers after a day of fun at the park.

Did you name her Schwabinchen?

The Grand Vista rooms at Sandcastle are better than those at Breakers. You have water surrounding you down there instead of just in front of you. Of course, there are only 3 of them.

The walk down the trail is much more disturbed now than it used to be but I agree it is still one of the nicer areas of the park. Don't know how long that will last.

The walk between Breakers and Sandcastle along the beach is pretty nice. (I was walking it one off season and found a "money holder" that had washed up on shore. It had $50 in it!)

Not me personally, but the CP&LE RR seems to be a pretty good spot for couples in the mornings when the train is ussually empty based on what we have found in the cars.

A "baygull?" WTF are you talking about?

I've had some nice beach moments with special ladies, but accommodations at the park are sub-optimal for creating special moments as far as I'm concerned. I realize that I'm a hotel snob, but still, not ideal.

Jeff, a baygull is a gull that flies over the bay.

The pier down by Lighthouse Point during sunset is very nice.

Actually, if you camp at the campground, there are a lot of opertunities at night to "explore" back by the magnum back turn. Based on which side of the parking lot the gulls come from they can be either lakegulls or baygulls.

How's that Mayor situation going? How about them lions? They amuse me. I feel dirty just typing about Detroit. Please don't make personal attacks on me dj.Daemon, unless you have proof of my being disturbed. Name calling is not very mature, and I don't appreciate it. Now could we please get on topic , and you could possably share a romance story from you. Please add something except a judgemental attack on an individual. Thank you very much
