Super Himalaya

I was going to respond with a wise-ass link to Coasterbuzz's bird's eye view of Cedar Point, which still shows White Water Landing (think it's through Microsoft Virtual Earth).

Lo and behold, the shot has been updated and Maverick now stands tall:

http://coasterbuzz.com/park/8/cedar-point.aspx

It must have been in the last few days that it was modified.
Edit: when I re-clicked on the map link, it now shows White Water Landing again. Something's weird.

It's listed on the parks website. Right next to pirat ride and jumbo jet.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Actually, it's a soft "J". Like in jogging (pronounced "yogging")

Mike: Some of the directions show WWL while others do not, and additionally, it happens to sit on an area where the "grid" overlaps in terms of date. Move too far in a certain direction and it reverts to Maverick.

Wow, that's weird. Before my eyes, the bird's eye view switched from WWL to Maverick. It's actually quite cool . . .

Whats fun is to look up Six Flags Astroworld. One view shows the park, and when you shift a little bit it goes to the view of a field...I guess sad more then fun.

Cedar Point should get rid of Super Himalaya and get a thrill ride like sledgehammer at Canada's Wonderland in its place.

You think Himalaya looks stripped down in the winter, you should see the Wave Swinger.

Or in some years, the Monster.

I agree, sledge hammer was a big let down.

Now something like shockwave at canada's wonderland would be a great fit for the park. It was one of the best flat rides I have been on.

It's a boring spinning ride that is like 30 sec. . I think Cedar Point has that covered with Matterhorn, Octopus, Wave Swinger, and other spinning ride. I f they don't get ride of this they should get rid of Calypso and put in something like shockwave from CW

When I was at CW two summers ago I rode it for the first time and it broke down at the end of our cycle. Last summer I was there twice and it was broken down both days. From what I hear it's had its share of troubles. The ride was pretty good, but I just had higher expectations because it looks awesome.

Or if CP gets rid of Demon Drop they should get a ride like slaamer at Thorpe Park.
