Sandusky now has a Qdoba

Qdoba burritos....gotta love'm.

20 ounces+ of pure love.

Qdoba put a new store in Sandusky right by Meijer / Wal-Mart. They make the best burritos around.

It is like a Subway shop, but for mexican food. Chicken queso with black beans is the way to go guys.

Just letting you know....

I saw it on Saturday on the way home, but I'm not sure why it warranted it's own thread here.

Because, nothing says "quality" like this statement right here. :)

Qdoba is good, but I'm still a Chipotle fan.

Agreed, I think Chipotle is better.

And incidentally, the former director of franchise operations for CP is now opening Qdoba locations. That's a shame, because the guy really raised the bar. Hopefully his replacement can fill those shoes.

Well, despite the discussion here on Qdobuzz, I'm going to say Moe's is better than either.

That's funny - when I first saw this thread, I figured you must've started it! ;)

Maybe we just have a really good Qdoba on 28th St. here in Grand Rapids, but I will take their burritos over Chipotle now. Chipotle got me addicted to them originally, but there isn't one in GR so I had to "settle" for Qdoba. After going back to Chipotle, I will take the Qdoba ones any day. Chipotle always tries to be really skimpy with the cheese and that bugs me. This fatty likes cheese! :)

I'm a big fan of both to be honest. Hard to go wrong with fast, delicious (americanized) mexican food. I've never heard of Moe's though... is that a northern Ohio/Michigan thing? In any case, congrats on the Qdoba.

Actually, Moe's is a Southern thing with some extensions into the north.

Here's a link.

Qdoba would be good if you've never had Chipotle. Qdoba's burritos were smaller, less tasty, and more expensive than their counterparts at Chipotle. Qdoba keeps the line moving really fast, but that didn't matter when a bunch of people started ending up with the wrong burritos.

But I'll agree that Moe's is better than either of them.

There is a bunch of Qdoba's and Moe's, here in Louisville, and a Chipotle in Lexington, I think it all depends on what you are getting at each one, Moe's has the best nachoes by far, and I love their white queso dip its really good!
The rewards program at Qdoba is great, I work next door to a qdoba and I end up getting about 2 free burritos a month.
You have to be careful though one chicken queso burrito is about 1600 calories!

2 free burritos a month.. that's like 20 burritos! I've had my card for 9-10 months and gotten 2 free burritos the whole time, and just got my second a couple weeks ago!

According to their website, a Steak Queso with black beans, hot sauce, sour cream and cheese is 930 calories. Typically if I have a burrito I will eat light the rest of the day.

I work next door to a qdoba, so i eat there almost every other day or so, its just to convenient. Also all of August was double points so I really racked up! They all know me by name, and no my order when I come in, they hook up for me too most of the time. When I do eat qdoba I almost always eat a small dinner, but I burn it off everyday too I ride my bicycle to work everyday. This is where I work at http://louisvilletrailstore.com/?page_id=12

extra cheese? Why not head another 25 minutes west or so and go to the CHEESE HAVEN in Marblehead/Port Clinton off of Rte 163. Mmmmm! Everything and anything cheese related...up to and including..I am "so" not kidding..a chocolate cheese log. They claim to sell over 125 forms of cheese...and best of all...free samples all day long!! That and the numerous inappropriate Facebook photos you can take next to the signs that say "extra long summer sausage" or "try my Polish kielbasa", etc. You get the drift. It's a hoot!

This place is a Summer requirement if you live or work in Northwest Ohio.

I talked to him once while he was at the park. He used to work for Cheesecake Factory before he came to Cedar Point. I've also seen him at Qdoba a few times, always on the front lines.

Qdoba is decent, but I still wish Sandusky had a Moe's, or better yet a KoKoPelli. Better food and free chips & salsa! Why won't Qdoba and Chipotle learn this? FREE CHIPS = HAPPY CUSTOMERS!

Well when going to Cedar Point a 1000 calorie burrito is just what I need to store up on energy for the day.

It might be a lot to eat, and you can sit it on the dash of a car during a hot day and come back and find your burrito still nice and warm.

But CP is missing out. Subway yeah its cool, but we like a heaping plate of food. It's not a small world after all...

And with that being said all we have in the park is Panda Express for a big heaping plate of food. Which is alright...if you want chinese.

For much the same reason the Breakers rooms aren't any better than a Holiday Inn - people keep buying them so why change? Besides, $1.60 for a bag of chips and a side of green is worth it, and it keeps you from overdoing it on the chips.

$1.60? Qdoba wants like $4.79 for Chips and tasty Queso sauce (ALIEN EMBRYOS)
