CP's website has not said anything about it being down. Has anyone actually been there to witness this?

It was down, train at the bottom of the lift. Possible thoughts are burned up lift motor? I don't know for sure.

Well, it was down on the 24th, with a train stopped the base of the lift hill. Not sure if it's still down or not though.

There is a lift motor issue from what I have heard. This has happened before. It should be resolved soon... if not by now.

I rode Magnum tonight. It was down earlier in the day but came back up closer to evening.

Lift motors used to take 3-4 hours to fix, not 3-4 days. Different issue or CP getting caught with their pants down (again)?

3-4 hours? It's amazing that they can put it in so fast... (That's what she said) Do they have extra motors on site?

I am fairly certain it was a lift motor issue, so I'm assuming either a major repair issue or the "pants down" option...

I can also confirm it was down on the 26th for 90% of the day it opened late around 7 or 8. Only rode it once.
Oh I also thought it was weird that they kept Maverick open while is was raining yesterday. I have never seen it run in the rain. Yea it was light rain but yet again i have never seen in running with the slightest bit of rain.

^^Well, Maverick ran a lot in the rain on it's opening weekend last year!!

But I dunno how true this is or not, but when I was at Canada's Wonderland last week a Behemoth ride op told me Cedar Fair altered the rain policy slightly to allow for light rain operations if lightning was not present, and Behemoth ran quite a bit in the rain that day and let me tell you, the rain freakin hurt!! Like little water daggers hitting you! I really hadn't done much coaster riding in the rain before that.

If CF did change the "light rain no lightning issue", what about Dragster? Will that STILL run in the rain because if so.....(just thinking of 120 mph rain pellets is bad enough)

Dragster does NOT run in the rain. For that reason and, I believe since the final braking/train movement is done by tires, they don't want a train sliding through because it is wet.

That and 120 mph rain bullets will kill ;)

Dragster's kicker wheels slip when they're wet. When they slip they can shred themselves. Running Dragster in the rain is not a good idea, even a sprinkle... and not just because of "rain bullets."
