Dragster does not run in the rain because the water on the track warps the train wheels.

So then why do they run it after it rains? I'm pretty sure there's still water on the tracks after it rains.:)

yeah that would make sense. STILL, you gotta admit that 120 mph. pellets hitting your face would kinda hurt :)

I have seen people on dragster once last year while it was raining kind of heavy. It had just started raining right as they were about to launch, and they came back soaked.

I can confirm the Magnum was down 25th and 26th. It started up towards the end of the 27th.

I was riding Dragster one time and as I got into launch position, it started raining, and that hurt like HELL!

I've rode Millennium Force in the rain and it HURT. I swear I wonder if I did a months worth of facial scrubbing with all the rain that pelted my face. Probably take chunks of dead skin off with it.

I have ridden Mille while it was hailing. Sounds like I'm making it up, but no lie! It hurt and we had chunks of ice in our eye brows.

On closing weekend a couple of years ago just as the ride cycle started on Skyhawk it started to sleet. That was very cold and unpleasant.

Two years ago I was riding up front on Dragster when it started to rain lightly, and ours was the final train to launch before downtime. Needless to say, "rain bullets" is an apt description.

Umm Maverick runs in the rain because its brakes aren't friction, Weren't we talking about the new rain policy on opening day Adam?
