What are some funny things you heard or been asked at CP?

My favorite at cp was when in line for Raptor and some one said while exiting " I didn't see no Dinosaurs"

(A bit off from the topic of Cp) But at GL a man asked me how many loops were on the Double Loop.

A woman came up to me right in front the Top Thrill Dagster Sign and asked me if TTD was Magnum.

I have been asked every question imaginable but for the amount of years I have worked there, the only question that still makes me scratch my head is “What is this place?”.

The first time I was asked that I figured it was a joke, but after the 17th time an adult asked me that, I then realized people really didn’t know what they had just gotten themselves into. Most of these people had already bought tickets as well.

This past summer I was approached by a gentlemen that said; “We drove down here from Buffalo to see this place, but what exactly is it? Do you have a mall? Are there concerts here? Where do I go and what do I do?”. I kid you not, that is what he said.

"Was this the town where Tommy Boy was set in?"

I heard this in line for Raptor one year. I thought that it was pretty funny to hear about this at Cedar Point.

My family and I were walking by Dragster at night time back in '03, and my younger brother who was about four years old at the time stated, "I want to go on Top Thrill Dragster so I can go up and catch a star."

I'm not sure why this is funny. It's true. They travel back to his childhood home of Sandusky, OH.

Yes and no. The movie says Sandusky, Ohio, but the bulk of it was actually shot in Ontario, with only a little shot in Sandusky and nearby Marblehead, OH.

I think I heard enough funny things asked when I was up with a group from a certain website which features funny things. (Exit English would know)

But actually...mine number 1 is this, "What line is this for?"

Yeah...it happens.

Standing directly in front of Raptor's loop while a train was passing through the inversion, some teen girls pointed to it and asked me, "Does this roller coaster go upside down?"

Well, yeah - obviously most of that stuff isn't in Sandusky, Interestingly enough, I never would have guessed that any of it was shot in Ohio. Most movies with a budget always re-create their cities somewhere else (in this case it was Ontario).

^^Had to have been at least three or four years ago. Which, the way my memory runs, means that it was probably more like eight. ;)

It just made me think of the movie, which made me laugh. By the way, I thought that everyone still lived in Sandusky, and Tommy came back when he finished school. Right? I'll have to watch it again, it's been a while.

I just want to know where the airport is in Sandusky. The one I know about is not the one that was on Tommy Boy
