How's the food in the employee cafeteria? Are there a lot of vegetarian options or am I going to have to cook most of my own food?

Greasy and overpriced normally. Im sure they have some vegetarian stuff, but you will probably get bored with them quickly.

Once every week or 2, the entree is vegetable lasagna. It tastes like cardboard. Every day there is also a salad. Not much more than iceberg, though. And there are fruit bowls, usually just grapes or sliced watermelon. They seem to sell out fast, though.

Otherwise, its all greasy. Oh yeah, and you can get cheese pizza. But you may as eat a stick of butter. Its all just cafeteria food.

Geeze, it sounds like you guys must have eaten at a different Employee Caf than the one I ate at. I also found the prices VERY reasonable and the food tasted great. Then again, I also love hospital food. But, I'm really shocked to hear you weren't satisfied with the food.

Really, the food is okay and not 'expensive' by any means. You can easily get lunch for around $5. I actually loved the veggie lasagna.

^I couldn't agree with you more. The food really isn't bad at all.

The best advice I can give is don't drink any pop. Too expensive and will absolutely kill you on those 100* days. If anything, buy a bottle of water and refill it throughout the day.
