I did go to Cedar Point in '88 as part of a high school band trip, if I remember correctly. (It was a huge improvement over the annual trip for the junior high band, which was to Bob-Lo Island!) My favorite ride at the time was Iron Dragon.

Iron Dragon was very popular with the general public for the first couple of years of operation. What do I remember best about that era? During the early and mid eighties, end of the night rides on Gemini would often get riders as pumped as any crowds I have ever seen at CP.
