SOME "spring" break!!:)

Welcome to college spring break. There's better sledding weather in Muskegon during spring break than Christmas break for me.

Forget spring break! (I never do anything during it anyway) I just cant wait to graduate and start what I'm calling "life break".

But that's not necessarily a good thing as I have to start my life in the real world. :/

Actually, I'm not really complaining about the length cause I love having a week off. It's this darn weather!
The only good thing that comes out of this vacation is that once we get back, that following weekend is the weekend I'm heading out to the season pass center.:)

So is that what they're calling unemployment in Michigan now? A "life break"?

It was mid to upper 50's last year for opening day.

Brisk, but a sweatshirt was enough.

Ride on, MrScott!

We were up for the last 2 opening day weekends and it was nice each year. In 2005 it was chilly at night, down into the 40's, but a nice weekend. We stayed at Breakers and even though it was cold for swimming, the outdoor pool was packed. Last year we stayed at Camper Village at LHP and it was wonderful, weather was great. I highly rcommend opening weekend, beats the summer heat anytime (though the heat doesn't stop me anymore than the cold)! We will be there again this year and I can't wait.

If Ohio weather is anything like Michigan weather, you don't know whats going to happen 5 minutes from now, let alone a month from now.

That siad, Sandusky Oh May 6th Average High is in the mid 60s.

It's not just Ohio. The same front literally just came through Orlando (Thursday night 9:45pm) the temp dropped a good 15 degrees and its pouring rain now!

Weird how the same system can effect weather at Disney World and Cedar Point literally hours apart!

I hear Michigan is getting a warm front soon...

looking back on that statement, I realize just how ridiculous that sounds..

Actually, I think we're calling it being "job impaired"....
Life break is just getting out of high school and starting to enter the real life. I actually call the moment that real life begins "the headache that never stops". So I guess that means "life break" only lasts about 4 days.

Hey 50 degrees is warm enough for me to get the bike out of the garage again and go for a ride

I dont know if any of you guys caught the news article a week of so ago about MGM Grand casino and their job openings. 1,000 jobs available and 26,000 people applied and they were still taking applications. Just shows how bad off this state is. :(

Maybe if CF held off on buying the Paramount parks, they could have taken that money and saved until now. Maybe the cost of the Chrysler division will keep dropping and CF could move into the auto division. ;)

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

I thought casino gambling was the cure for a bad economy. You mean it's not working out for Detroit? The city and state are still struggling, despite having legalized gambling? Huh. Well it worked in ... uh ... I mean, if you look at ... hmm.

Sorry. I don't intend to turn this into a gambling thread. Just couldn't resist a quick jab. :)

Man, I'm jealous. A change in weather here is usually 5 degrees. If I'm lucky, it will rain for 10 minutes once a month.

According to recent updates, this cold has turned suddenly below average for most of the United States. One of the worst cold snaps we've had in awhile, affecting even the southern states, with no relief in sight until late next week.

and to think last week I was outside hanging up my wifes wind chimes...

Yes. This is a perfect time for my one big trip out of Ohio, and to Florida. :(

Don't get me wrong, it's still fantastic to be in Tampa Bay, but I wasn't exactly daydreaming of sixty degree weather. ;)
Atleast I left my house while it was snowing...

Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
