X Flight PKI?

Hey bubbakevjr, don't give him the time of day.

This website's great for asking questions! Last time I was at Geauga Lake (last june) the lines were minimal to non-existent. Like I said, don't pay attention to the losers on the board, and always feel free to ask questions. Loopy seems to remind me of one of those 20-30 year old lock-ins whom lack social lives and live to smack-down those they deem inferior.

OK let's back track a second.

#1 - If you're too lazy to come back to check the boards to see if anyone replied to your question then why bother posting to begin with? Why should anyone have to add him to their buddy list to reply to his question, or even have to download AIM and install it just to reply to him? Why's he so special (other than obvious reasons)?

#2 - I was making a suggestion to him to stop being lazy and have a little courtesy. If someone is going to take the time to reply to him and give an honest answer, why shouldn't he come back here and look at it?

#3 - Please don't act as if you know me. There are plenty of people here that will tell you the type of person I am and I am definitely not what you so ignorantly replied with.

^^ - you're right, this site is great for asking questions. But if you're not willing to come back and get the answers, and instead expect people to IM you the answer thats lazy. Then the answer also isn't available to everyone, which is the point of a message board.

^Exactly what I was going for a few posts up. At least I'm not the only one who sees the pointlessness of his post.

I hate to break up the argument here, but I had a question. Aren't they planning on taking out Steel Venom soon? How come it's still up?

Because they haven't gotten around to taking it down.

Its just a guess though.

Yeah, my guess is that the same crew that's dismantling X-Flight will move on to Steel Venom. It's not as though SV is a very large coaster that will take a long time to take down.

And it definitely won't take them as long to take it down as it will to put it back up at Michigan's Adventure.

Seems like bubbakevjr needs to read this again (assuming it was read in the first place).

There appears to be a new crew on site. Independence Demolition. I don't think they were to ones removing the ride. I'm guessing that everything that was going to be saved is now gone and that everything left is either going to be srcapped or trashed.

Lookin good. Kinda funny that the loop which was one of the last things to come down, is now one of the first things going up. Does the track look like that because they stripping the old paint off?

It's actualy just primer.

That was my first thought, but I had wondered why it wasn't more consistantly covering the track. It seems like a waste of time to skip over part of the track and have to go back and get the rest later.

What I find most interesting is how much lower the ride will be. It should be a different "feeling" than when it was at GL, especially with part of it at ground level.
