where is the love for x flight? I love the ride, it was one of the reasons I actually drove past cedar point to go to geauga lake a lot. I think it'll make a great addition to PKI if it is indeed being installed. Maybe this time they'll get the seats to work right, since they never could at six flags. Now that x flight is gone from GL, The only reason I have to drive all that way is dominator and the waterpark.
Edit: Noticed a really bad typo.... forgot the "l" in six flags. *** Edited 1/25/2007 12:54:55 PM UTC by liebevision***

Funny thing is I was driving up I-71 this mornign and saw four trucks with pieces of X-flight heading south.
Blue Gemini Always Wins.
Where would it grip the pieces? Under the dorsal guiding feathers?

Speaking of funny, I'd have to say that X Flight is definitely going to KI....

It would surprise me if X-flight flew south. It begs one question: if it was going to be done in time for 2007 season, should'nt the footers already have been poured?

Who says they haven't been poured already?

They do have pictures overhead behind Flight of Fear and it didn't look like there were footers.

In case you all missed it, X-Flight already IS at PKI. And, I'm SURE they're not just storing it. LOL!!
Yeah...the only aerial pictures are from several weeks ago. Many things, especially in the case of a relocated ride, can happen in that time span.

I have a question ... are Vekoma Flyers better than B&M's ??? Just curious. Hopefully in a few years CP will get a B&M so I can test both and see for myself
^Yes... immenseley.
Compare Tatsu to X-Flight.... wait, there isn't. Tatsu is a Top 10 ride, X-Flight isn't top... 1,000.
And Jugga, i'd take RCDB over any person on this, or almost any forum, anyday of the week. They, unlike most people, have credible sources.
Plus, when you have bright green track sitting in the parking lot, its guarenteed its going there.

What would be the point in that? The only thing that would do is cause you to handle the pieces an additional time and cost you more money. If there were somewhere else it were going, and it couldn't be stored there yet, they would have just left it at Geauga Lake. Geauga Lake opens a Month after Kings Island. It therefore could stay at Geauga Lake a month longer and not cause a problem. The track is sitting in the Kings Island parking lot because that's the park it's going into. Period.

I think he was saying that a lot could happen in that time, meaning they could have a bunch of footers poured and be preparing the site at KI more than we last saw.
