X Flight PKI?

If anyone else has driven on I-71 through Mason, they call tell you that this is no longer "speculation".

If you had watched the "news" story in question, they were talking about X-Flight being installed at PKI. NOT the loop of SOB being removed. They also said there were rumors of the ride being installed at PKI. So, to me that's speculation.

What TopThrill means is that track is indeed in the KI parking lot. It was delivered today. PKICentral and ExtremePKI are both working on getting photos to put online as we speak.

Yay! When will X Flight open at PKI?

Not soon. My guess would be mid-season at best. There is still quite a bit left to disassemble at GL. And the last thing to come out at GL (the bottom supports) will be the first thing PKI needs to start building. They can of course get started on the footers and such, but it will be a while.

I'm thinking it will be mid-June, just as the park approaches peak-season. The visitors in April and May will have a great incentive to return later in the season if they see a new coaster being constructed.

It would be pretty sweet if it were open by Coaster Con, but I won't hold me breath.

Should be good addition for PKI... although X-Flight blows.

I actually love PKI. It is one place I look forward to visiting each year, and can't wait to return for the 3rd strait season this year. The rides are great, atmosphere is amazing, food is great. Its just that, X-Flight sucks. :)

Its a subpar Vekoma ride, which is easily outdone by any B&M Flyer, even a clone.

So, if x-flight sucks, how can it be a good addition for PKI?

Personally, as in me, I, the person typing this, thinks X-Flight sucks. Horrible ride, not even worth the 3 calories burned trying to get in line.

Just because I don't like something, doesn't mean it won't be good for a park.

I know where I will be going this summer. I'm sorry for this being off topic but has anyone noticed anything at MiAd. I heard that someone spoted a crane and that was it. Any news on whether or not their getting some new ride?
