Is that dive an actual "Stengal dive" or is it just similar looking?

I believe that is a Stengel Dive. And from that angle, it almost looks like an inversion.:)

Wow these pictures are awesome. Definately one of the best updates we've had of Maverick. I don't mean to ask, but when are we going to have another Aeriel Update again? I think it would be cool to look at now because the last update we had was back in August, and that was when supports were slowly rising.

I did aerial photos about every 6-8 weeks before the announcement, but now that the mystery is gone, I'm going to cut back. If I had to guess, I suspect I'll do two aerial updates during the off-season.

The last I checked, Disney was releasing The Little Mermaid on DVD this month.

Wonder what the park would look like right now from the air. The trees are changing colors and all.

I bet it's really beautiful right about now. Those would be some truly amazing pictures from above. I'm sure that they would be some of the most spectacular shots of the park ever. Maybe even worth entering in some competition or something. Not to mention all the ooh's and ahh's from the many admirers here. ;)

There's nothing stopping anyone else from renting a plane or helicopter and getting aerial shots of thier own. Correct me if I'm wrong but if I recall correctly, Walt said it was around $50 for an hour.

Not sure how my zoom lens compares with all of yours, but I do have a pretty nice one. I haven't been in a plane in a while either...If I got out there more often I for Halloweekends I might consider it.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
