Why would CP build a major roller coaster one year after they opened MF? In the past, there as always been a 2-3 year gap between CP building new coasters. The boardwalk project will probably happen in 2002, but I may be wrong. Just like SFMM won't be building any new coaster for 2001, CP probably won't either.

Let's face it there is no way were getting anything good next year. If anything it will be expansion of the breakers or a new water slide. Can't wait for 2002.

All depends on what you call good. Any excuse to come back is good enough for me! *Grin*

I think Jeff eluded that Ocean Motion is gone or to be moved. But if that is true, and Oceana and the Arcade (formerly the Aquarium) are also gone, you can fit a big attraction in there. I find it hard to believe they would just put some shops and food stands in.

The park has a yearly budget. They sometimes go over but rarely stay under. The year Chaos was built the park spent the same amount of money as when Raptor or Power Tower were built.
The park builds variety from year to year but every year is a "big" attraction.

Yeah, but the budget has to be different every year. I'm sure CP's budget for 2001 is low because of MF (they are not going to spend 25 million in rides for 2001), but I can still see some new attractions in the Oceana, etc. spot that will be more affordable (i.e. Wild Mouse, Wooden Cyclone, flat/spinning rides).
Note: this is not a prediction, just an example

I recall somebody saying in another post that we will look at Disaster Transport a whole new way next year. Anybody have a clue what this means??

Hopefully some retheming considering all of the original theming is just about gone.

Just a thought, not a fact, but wouldn't it be nice if the building just disapeared and it was all outdoors again. Very unlikely, I know, but that would change the look of the park, know?!

Wild though possible speculation, of course, but it would be neat if the building was gone and it was turned into some sort of surfing theme, maybe, to go with the elusive boardwalk project.

People, why do you think Jeff is hiding something or is on the "inside". You people think that he knows what is going to happen because he runs a site about CP.
Maybe he does know something, but let it GO.

He DOES know people that are "In The Know", so I guess that would also make him "In The Know". And like he says, People that talk don't know, and people who know don't talk.

Hey, he's been dropping hints about Oceana, The old Aquarium, Ocean Motion...he knows something. Maybe not 100%, but he has an idea.

Oceana is gone for sure, but they better not touch Ocean Motion. If they do something with it, they should move it and not tear it down.

Hints have been circulating that something will be done with Ocean Motion. I'm sure CP will just move elsewhere. It's in great shape. Which means that something of decent size must be going in because we all know what is next to Ocean Motion...the exact things we have been talking about that will be gone in 2001.

Okay lets not get all pissy. People can speculate all they want to. It adds to the fun! I do agree w/ CP_bound, though. :)

Millennium Force will be well paid off by the end of the season. They didn't just raise prices because they where spending to much money on keeping Dave and Franc quit again.
