At 18.7ft there would be 448.8.:)

Oh and check your math cause at an average of 28.7 feet and with 24 pieces we would have 688.8 feet. Plus, more pieces have arrived since Jason went so we have somewhere around 700 feet or track.

Oops I accidently typed 28 instead of 18. How did I find a way to screw that up:)

TTD is 2800 ft and its the shortest in length out of the major rides.

When these pieces are being delivered, how many are coming off of each truck?

When will there be more up to date aerial shots, I mean that there are more footers there now and I would like to see what people have in mind what the new coaster would look like.

Maybe I should do aerial updates twice a day, just in case someone moves some dirt in the mid-afternoon.

I would love those kind of updates. 6/12/06-The yellow crane moved. A truck that looked like it might be carrying track drove through Sandusky.;)

Can't we just rent the Goodyear Blimp and position it right above the construction site with a webcam? That way we could have an updated picture every 60 seconds. I can imagine the talk now:

OMG!!!!!1!!1!! Their moveing sum durt arowund right NOW!!1!!! wo0t!

:)

Walt some people just don't appreciate what you do for us on this site. Some of us understand that it takes time, and money to do what you do. To all of you who help provide Walt with pics I thank you.

A cam at facing the staging area would be neat.:)

Well, seeing as how they don't even have a webcam for the Construction Site online yet, I doubt we'll see one for the Staging Area. That camera would see very little activity.

That doesn't mean stupid people here wouldn't sit and watch it all day long. That's what Summer break does to you.

Summer Break? I'm not familiar with that term ;)

Maybe it's in refrence to the fact that construction industry has picked up so much during the Summer that I'm breaking my back at work.

This summer break you speak of... what is that? I wish the whole world shut down for summer break, then again that would mean Cedar Point would be closed, so I guess that is bad ;) Although I can't say I haven't been to CP almost everyday off I get....

Summer break I remember that in 2000 when I didn't have work. Now I have college and work in the non summer time and work in the summer time. Lifting 220-240 pounds of furniture every Monday or Tuesday over and over again and I'm usually the only one doing that stuff, because I'm the only one on the floor usually when I'm there. I stock things, put stuff away, and help the stupid customers that come in (Most of them are stupid by the way) and stuff. I can see my back being horrible at like 35 but no matter what happens to me, I will still go and ride the rides at Cedar Point nothing will keep me away from there. Well ok there a few things, but you know what I mean.

Just curious, for funhas anyone played 'connect the dots' yet - just to get some ideas of potential track layout? :)

Have I missed something? I haven't see any straight track yet in the pictures. Record breaker or not , I think I will enjoy this ride.

And thanks for the pictures. I am too far away to see for myself.

Kind of hard to play "Connect the Dots" when all the Dots aren't even present.;)
