Shuttle Ride

Toanyone: How long does it take to ride the shuttle from the commons to the park?

from the moment you get on the bus... to the time you get off....if theres no traffic 5 minute. but on the busy days you can be on the causeway for 15 minutes. gotta love those parking bans and taking the bus!

I've been stuck on the bus for longer than that before.. i think i showed up about an hour or so late for work one day

i had my car last time.... so there for very few times i was on the bus... luckly

If there is a parking ban, can you still park in the Soak City lot? If it was that big of a deal I would just be sure to get out of my dorm an hour earlier than usual. I mean you can sort of predict how busy it's going to be, factoring in weather and time of year etc.

it all depends on who's driving and how the traffic is. i know a few times i rode the shuttle from commons back to cedars i had the driver who looked like usher and he got us there quick.

No. A parking ban means you can't park your car on point. If you lived in Cedars or Gold, you'd have to move your car the night before.

and people hated that last year because we had to wait on the shuttle and then travel to commons to go to the car. but i don't like how the parking situation is anyways at cedars where we have to park all the way down by blue streak which is a nice far walk but parking should be allowed on the side of cedars where hardly anybody parks.

we used to tell security we were dropping someone off at cedars... then parked on the side... hardly ever had a problem

Just have fun on the 4th of july..... shuttle wait time = hours!!

we did too complainer but they sometimes they started to get strict but all depends on who the security guard was at the booth at the time.

Just be lucky you don't work at Geauga Lake, where you have to be a Supervisor to park close enough not to take the shuttle (if you work anywhere in zones 1,2, or 3)! We basically need to get to the park a half hour early because the employee lot is nowhere near the ops office!

Avoid parking bans by making friends with people that are supervisors, or work in marina. Red and Blue parking passes are allowed access during parking bans. NO GREEN! Or spend the money and get a season pass holder parking pass. I did that one year.

has anybody rode the employee shuttle this year yet? if so is the driver who looks like usher back?
