That's what I like to see. A TV spot with lots of fiber.

Do you think this commercial would be advertised on the sports channels like Fox Sports Net Ohio after a Cleveland Indians game? I watch the Indians all the time so I was wondering If I should expect to see the new commercial on that channel or not.

Saw it at the same time that you mentioned (on Fox), and a few more times last night...

P.S. To answer your question, Vince, keep looking for the commercial on the Detroit stations. I saw it on Channel 2 and 4 last night. :)

I just saw it on channel 7 (abc) here in detroit durring the 12:00 news.

It looked great, they used the" best park" theme. There is shots of most of the coasters in action and a nice animation of maXair.

They also mentiond that the park will open with fireworks.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I wish it came on down here in the Bloomington-Indianapolis area. We see the Six Flags and PKI commercials all the time but hardly ever see a Cedar Point commercial. :(

I saw it a few hours ago during the Channel 7 (WXYZ) Midday news. It's a GREAT commercial and they really utilize their "Best _____ on the planet" marketing strategy. Some great shots of Millennium and Dragster, and the maXair air footage at the very end is awesome!

The commerical ends by saying the Park opens May 7, with fireworks!

I've seen commercials in Michigan, the same one everyone else is talking about.

Yeah, like CP will ever run a commercial 400 something miles away. That's a great marketing scheme.

If IOA can do it, why not Cedar Point?

The "shots" of maXair at the end of the commercial are nothing more than a few quick clips of the Keith McVeen animation that's available on the CP website.

If you've seen that animation, then you're really not missing anything.

If you've ever been to IoA you can see why they can do it and CP can't.

Because Universal Orlando is a year-round multi-park destination in a far more consistent climate with a much more well-known label. They can advertise to places over 1,000 miles away because they know people will eventually make the trek there to see what all the hype is about. Cedar Point only has 3 months of full operation. They have to advertise to as many people within a reasonable distance within those 3 months to get as many visitors as they can.

No one at all got the fiber joke. That's more sad than the fact that I had to make it in the first place.
