I was hoping to at least bait the first poster. Oh well, I tried.

Your humor is appreciated, Jeff. I thought it was very funny as well. I made a joke a couple days ago about a ride being a record "braker" (most brakes EVER) and all I got was a "my bad" from the original misspeller. I thought it was funny. Have a sense of humor, people!! :)

Maybe he's not a regular visitor. ;)

oh man....revenge of the bad puns....
As for CP's marketing, they only market within a 250-300 mile radius. Coaster enthusiasts know about the park anyway and when they build an -est coaster they get the national news. They do fine for not spending major bucks on national advertising and just sticking to regional.
Goodbye MrScott
John
I haven't caught the commercial yet.
Anyone know what music they use?
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead
Ive seen it here in Kalamazoo Michigigan yesterday. I live about half way between Chicago and Detroit with CP being little further than Great America. I havnt seen any six flags commercials. I think I see more cedar point commercials than six flags even though i live closer to six flags great america.

Yeah, like CP will ever run a commercial 400 something miles away. That's a great marketing scheme.
I live in southwest Michigan and I see Universal Studios and Disney Park commercials all the time.
Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.
i just saw the new commericial today on channel 7(WXYZ) here in detroit during the noon newscast at 12:38. it's ok i personally like last year's better.
2004 Gun Ball
2004 Half-Court Hoops
Matt, that was great! :)
How much does it cost to run a 30 second ad during American Idol? That's when I caught it.
add vs. ad

Actually Rihard, you had it right the first time. "Ad" is short for advertisement and only has one "d".
MrScott (who is NOT a school teacher, I'm just an old radio announcer) :)
Mayor, Lighthouse Point
I live in the cleveland area and i still havnt seen the commercial! wats up with that?! IM VERY ANGRY!!!!!
Clostest thing I get to see here in Chicago is a billboard... I don't know why Cedar Point doesn't start marketing more over here.
Then again SF: GA has this area in a pretty tight choke hold.
Maybe because to the average person it's more worth it to go to SFGAm.
At the turn of the Millennium, there were signs. Was the something out there?... A mysterious force at work? Beyond words. Beyond comprehension. Beyond, beyond beyond… A natural force simply known as, Millennium Force. The future is riding on it.…
How often has this commercial been aired? I still havent seen it? What channel should I tune it to, to find this commercial?
I haven't seen it either, and I've been hunting it like a hawk on Detroit's Channel 2 NBC, 7 FOX, and CBS, the channels people say they have seen the commercial on.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Mr. Scott, I had it wrong the first time. :) I originally had the extra "d" in there. When I made the edit I corrected my typo to what you see now. I guess all I really managed to do was confuse you. Oh well. :)
