Meeting People

Hey folks. I will be a rookie for the 2005 season. It'd be nice to get to know some people even before I arrive on May 8. I'll just take a leap of faith here, and throw out some facts about myself, and hopefully I'll get some e-mails.

Sean Murray, age 29. Insurance Producer/musician

-from Ada, Oklahoma HT - 6'2" WT-235

-taking the ultimate sabbatical at the point, and my tied-down friends and family are envious.

-roller coaster nut. -avid sports fan

-once met Dave Mathews at one of my band's gigs.

-favorite TV= Family Guy, Aquateen HF, Seinfeld, The Weather Channel

-Talents= Self-depricating humor, public speaking, landscaping, piano, and bad golf.

I don't know how many Okies have graced the paths of Cedar Point, but I hope the park's impression on me will be as good as mine on it.

Hello, Helen. I may be from Oklahoma, but many of my great-great grandparents were from Ireland. Some were from Scotland. I've never been, but my bro played some cool golf courses over there.

I will be working in Hotel Breakers as a reservations clerk.

My normal job is an insurance producer. I studied economics and music at the University of Oklahoma.

What is your major area? Have you been to the U.S. before? If so, what are your impressions?

How long have you been a roller coaster nut? And, what is the best place in Europe to ride coasters?

my major is media studies and geography - kinda cool - still reckon the ideal job i could get out of that one would be working on a travel programme!! anyway...

Yeah I've been to the US a good few times before - on a few family holidays and then to ohio itself a few times on an exchange kinda thing so some of my very good friends live not too far from cedar point. then last summer I lived and worked in South beach in miami which was amazing - i really like the US - amazing place - such a variety of places just compared to here!

haven't been to all that many parks over here - have always loved rollercoasters tho - have been to a good few parks in the US - like the 6 flags ones and universal and that and then cedar point - the best ones I've been to over here are alton towers in england and universal's port adventura in spain!

Hey. I sent a reply, but I do'nt think it went through.

Those majors are interesting. I'm secretly a geography nerd, myself, and coincidentally I have always wanted to go into broadcasting. That will happen eventually, when I quit the double duty I'm going through currently. I think it would be really cool to produce a new type of theme park program for,say, the Discovery Channel. One that is both entertaining, but very informative as well. Sort of a TV encyclopedia of theme parks et al.

I cannot imagine being engaged to anyone at 18.

Who gets "engaged for now?" Either you want to get married or you don't.

"engaged for now"= "engaged till first night at louies"

Louies does tend to form new relationships, even if its just summer ones or ones that last a night or two . :)
