I was just wondering how maXair's clearence is going to be. I was just thinking we will easily be able to jump our seats so does that mean the floor drops or hydrolics lift up the seats a few feet?

I aslo believe that Delirium did not have a drop down floor am I right? so the height restrictions should be a little more leanant too. *** Edited 4/10/2005 6:54:05 PM UTC by x3ro***

I don't know if they use a drop floor on Delirium. Even if there was no drop floor somehow the ride would have to be able to lift off the ground a few feet right?

Delirium does have a drop floor. Well, the floors on the two rides aren't really complete drop floors.

The ring floor tilts inward to create the extra clearance needed.

Oh I see thats a good concept thanks for the pic. Looking though all the pics the ride definitly gets more height then I thought. Is Cedar Points even taller???

maXair's footers are three feet taller. Therefore, it is considered taller, but is the same frame as Delerium. Delerium runs faster than maXair, though 70 mph is nothing to sneeze at.

At the turn of the Millennium, there were signs. Was the something out there?... A mysterious force at work? Beyond words. Beyond comprehension. Beyond, beyond beyond… A natural force simply known as, Millennium Force. The future is riding on it.…

70mph is no joke-I think this could possibly be the scariest ride in the park.

Delerium is a very intense and uniqe experience and there is not much to compare it to. I personly did not notice the speed at the bottom of the swing as I did the air time and hight of the peak swings.

When I rode Delirium on media day, let me just say it was instantly the best ride in the park on my list. The speed (second fastest in the park; just 2 mph slower than SOB) and the forces are great. At the top of the swing you look up and the ground is what you're looking at. If you're on the inside of the swing coming down the G's are so incredible.

This ride will most definately not dissapoint.

Delerium is an absolutely breathtaking ride. The floor drops and it is immediatley swinging good and high. The most amazing feeling is when you are at the outside of the spin and its in full swing, then you spin around and you go face first in to the wind...

My favorite flat of all time... I would call it a sensory overload, the best ever...

IF you look at the new news on the homepage, it has a picture of maXair running and you can see how the floor drops. It's just like delerium.

Delirium and Tomb Raider: The Ride at PKI are my two favorite flat rides. Delirium may look intense, but once you are riding and finally reach that full swing, it's the most awesome experience.

The cool thing about Delirium, when you reach the full swing, you don't drop back down going the same direction each time. It's different everytime.

I don't know about that because Top Thrill Dragster still scares the heck out of everybody.

Does MaXair Compare at all to Chaos? I mean I know it goes higher and all but is there a comparison?

maXair doesn't fall over if you over-tighten its bolts.

Aww, what's wrong with Chaos? I'm sure maXair will be both of those things, and more, but I happen to like Chaos, it's a pretty unique and exciting ride experience :)
