You tink they teach spelleng in skool? For da third wek we hav standerdized test preperation.

The good news is that standardized test don't have an essay section. Apparently they don't want to have to pay anyone to actually GRADE something.

I remember taking the MEAP in school, but I don't remember us actually spending any time studying for it. It was more of a just show up one day and take it. We'd lose a day of school or half day or whatever to take it but not weeks of preparing for it.

well, he could not spell, but I believe he was correct on the color scheme being different for Banshee. Silver and black or something along those lines, or maybe lack of sleep is messing with my memory.

It must be lack of sleep :) because there was never an alternate color scheme for Banshee, just a name/logo change.

This is the first time that I have spelled something wrong on this site that i can remember. Its called a mistake, deal with it. Thank you.

Since I have been here all i ever hear is people complain about spelling. I can see why but you are fighting a losing battle. People are still gonna use bad grammer and it just causes arguements. Its getting old.

I really don't think that this colour scheme would have match the name Banshee.

Why not try spelling correctly? Then humiliation wouldn't need to be used. It takes 2 seconds to proof-read a post and another 2 to fix obvious mistakes.

Why not try keeping on topic and talking about Mantis instead pointing out every mistake and carrying on about nothing. I believe this website it PointBuzz, not EnglishBuzz.

The only one who will lose here is you. What you posted goes well beyond mistake and into a place I call illiteracy. If you don't care enough to do it right, society will leave you behind and Americans will continue to have the reputation of the stupid.

Well Jeff, I will be the better man and not respond to what you just said. Anyway, I think Mantis is a much better name for this ride. I think Banshee is kind of cheesy if you ask me.

What does writing a book have to do with anything? I've got news for you... the standards we hold our members to are the reason for our success, not a limitation of it. Thousands of people hit the site every day because they don't have to wade through pages of incomprehensible crap posted by lazy people that don't use half of their keyboard and never actually say anything. I'd rather have one intelligent thread a week than Web cam updates posted in five minute intervals.

It's not elitism, it's the expectation that people can function in society like literate, functional human beings. If that's not your thing, you're free to choose to go else where and suX0rz teh big one!!!!11 there.
