CP... a park? or more than that?

Qs of cp ask me

Monday, January 31, 2005 11:07 PM

Do you think of CP as just a major theme park, a place to get a thrill, or something more? Is it just the rides, the employees, or just the general look of the place?

What do you miss of the old days?

Who is your favorite person (past/present) that works there?

Cedar Point is much more than an amusement park. Anyone who has spent time there knows that.

Cedar Point is just an amusement park. A place to have fun with friends and family.

I think I'm past due for my meds.

It's Absoltely Amazing. The park has charm, thrills, and the best location around. When you are there you are taken to away from the world for a while. It is more than your average amusment park.

Cedar Point, for me, isn't just a place to get thrills. It's a place where I can let loose and forget about all of my troubles.

I'd be happy by just walking around CP, much less riding the amazing rides. The views great, and the atmosphere is grand. It seems like the perfect spot for a mega-park like CP.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Sean summed it up, just being in the atmosphere of Cedar Point is half the fun. A peninsula is the perfect spot for an amusement park. It's my getaway from all of the worries of life, when I'm at Cedar Point, all that matters is Cedar Point.

As an enployee, i love working there. This will be my 4th summer at CP and i really should be taking summer classes to finally finish up my double degree. But i have decided that I am going to continue to work at CP until something better comes along. Hopefully, that will happen once i start my career after i grad. I tell everyone that working in rides at Cedar Point is more then just a summer job at some park, its a working vacation at the best amusement park in the world.

Cedar Point is a vacation resort. You can have fun there and never enter the amusement park.

I agree Jeff, CP is just about the "sweetest" place around!

Also, I think you are well on your way to reaching your goal when you grow up. :)

Cedar Point is an awesome place. Paramount Canada's Wonderland used to be my home park, but I have upgraded. When I was at Wonderland in August I just couldn't have as much fun as I used to because the roller coasters seemed so small and the atmosphere couldn't compare to Cedar Point's.

Cedar Point is an escape from the world and all of your problems, its a place to go and forget everything and just enjoy yourself. And as mentioned, there are a lot of great sights as well ;-)

C.P. for me is more then a theme park, yes I do like riding the rides, but I can go there on a busy day and just walk around, take in the sites, sounds, and eat some food and be just as happy. I enjoy meeting people and becoming friends with people as much as riding the rides. The people make that place as much as anything. That goes for most guests as well as the employees!

And I thought I was the only crazy one. I watch Cedar Point videos EVERY day. I've dreamed about CP so many times. I'd get a job there, but I have track this spring and college football in the fall. I love it there. Its... heaven.
