I'd like to echo some of the sentiments already stated. It is a good place to go to forget every day life. I've only been going since 2000 and I remember when I first stepped through the front gate, I was totally taken in by all of the sights and sounds. Maybe even more memorable than that was driving up the causeway and seeing Millennium Force. I was speechless.
This will be my fourth year going to Cedar Point this summer. When I am the Point I am relaxed and all of my stress has left me from the moment I get on the island to the moment I get off the island. Cedar Point is way past just an amusment park it is a place with some of the best views I have ever seen. The food is great and the rides are extrodanary. I love the point.
STOP! Hammer time!

Cedar Point is like the best place on Earth, it is the one place that I would compare with my other favorite park Walt Disney World. Both places allow you to forget your problems and worries, and allow you to have fun and be a kid again.
It also like a drug. And seeing some of these posts I think we cannot wait until our fix on May 7th.

I'm gonna have to start going to those group meetings because of CP. Hi, my name's Sean, and I have an obsession with Cedar Point;). Whew, that felt good to get it off my chest.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.
Its a lot more than an Amusement park to me.I got married on the Big Wheel in 2003.For me and my wife its our place of dreams.Sometimes we go there and dont even ride a coaster, just walk around ,see the shows and munch on the junk-food.We get season passes every year, although were over 400 miles away.We sure wouldnt do that just for an Amusement Park.
C.P. opens May seventh which is 91 days away. I need a Cedar Point trip to but I live in the south west corner of Michigan and I am too young to drive so I only get one trip every year it's torture I tell you. Somehow I get through it. I think it is because when I go to school I am thinking about getting out of school and not Cedar Point moast of the time.
Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.
