If your a once a year visitor going on a saturday in the middle of summer, or a seasoned veterain that knows the secrets its going to happen eventually. What im talking about is getting stuck in an hour and a half line to go on a roller coaster. I just want to know what some of you do to pass the time? A personal secret of mine is a deck of cards. Good for a game of war. What are some other stratigies to pass the time?

Usually I talk to the group of friends or family I'm riding with. ^_^ It's a good chance to socialize. If I'm riding by myself, I people watch and listen to the know-it-alls around me spouting "true facts" about the ride and "horrific incidents" that their friends or cousins or neighbors have told them occurred on it. That's always good for a private laugh.

I always find that watching to see who still wearing "SurfStyle Jackets" or who has "Mall Bangs" both left over from the late 80's. I find that people watching and seeing who is still stuck in certain Eras is way fun. Mullets are great at CP too.. hahah sorry to have offended anyone...:)

Last year a guy I was there with brought a deck of cards, and we played kind of a rough version of poker. That was interesting for a while. I've also played a guessing game in line where somebody thinks of a famous person and the others have to figure out who it is by asking yes or no questions.

Well, I usually just talk to whoever I'm with. Last time I went with my friend, we were in a half hour line for Magnum and very bored, so we started conversation with the people behind us. It made the line go by much faster. But Magnum is a line that I don't mind waiting in anyways because it is nicely shaded, and the view of TTD from the queues is wonderful. :)

Yeah, I usually have a conversation with someone. During the silence I'll just watch roller coasters go by, or like someone already said, listen to people talk about fallacious facts about CP and it's rides. It's amazing how much people think they know.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

This is the one great part about Cedar Point: when waiting in line just about anywhere in the park, you can watch any 1, 2, 3, 4 coasters running. I realized this in line for Dragster with some friends; a Dragster train would fly by, an Iron Dragon train would chug by, you would look up and see a Mantis train going down its hill, look over and see Corkscrew running, Magnum just down a ways...

You get the idea ;)

Waiting is a given at Cedar Point. It's just how long you have to do it, that matters.

I like to put on a little show for the people surrounding me by dancing to the music. Sure, many people laugh at me but it passes the time away, (especially when you ride by yourself because your stupid cousin doesn't want to go on anything but says he would). Iv'e done my act on Power Tower, Magnum, The Force, and while in line for the front row for dragster( I sang "ready to go" too)!!! Wow I just realized how much of an Idiot I really am... I also talk to other people too.

well not to be mean.....yeah to be mean, i take pictures of people in line, seriously, & if there funny enough to keep i save them , if junk i delete, but its funny to snap a shot, & see if you have caught a stupid expression, & sometimes i make eyecontact with the people, & they see me take the picture, then i laugh at the picture, & it makes the people nervous, but they cant do anything about it, because there usually a couple rows away.....its a great way to pass time,

Ha I would be too nervous to take pictures of other people. There is the fear that some big tough guy will get angry and start a fight. However, I have never had the desire to take pictures of other people in line, so I guess I will never have to find out. :)
