Isn't Best Capacity one of the 3 year rotating categories?

Yeah, maybe because they didn't want more than one runaway victory for all of the categories. I'd venture to say that Cedar Point would win best capacity for much longer than they will win best park.

There's no other park that's even close to Cedar Point. It had 35% of the vote this year, and Islands of Adventure came in 2nd with 15%. I can't see anybody beating them in the next several years.
If Cedar Point and IOA were next to each other and I lived in between, I'd pick IOA. It's not even an apples-to-apples comparison.

Even though IOA's attendance seems to go up every year, I think we'd see a serious change in the rankings if they built a new coaster or extreme thrill ride. I can't imagine they want to wait much longer even though the Hulk is still, in fact, INCREDIBLE. I'm pretty sure they have alot of room to expand too. But, I guess as long as they see their attendance going up and their profit increasing, the probably won't do anything different...

I don't think so and I have the same opinion. I think Magnum feels rough. Now if they could do something about those uncomfortable trains, it might not feel so rough.

I noticed they did they presentation in front of MF, did they shut the ride down during the ceremony or was it still running. I just think that having a train rumble overhead every 3 minutes would be kinda annoying during an awards ceremony.

And RaptorMan, Raptor was not in the top 10 for the 10th year in a row, the awards have only been around for 7 years. Although, to be honest, it would have made top 10 if they had been. I still rank it as the #1 coaster at Cedar Point, only slightly ahead of Magnum, we're talking close enough that the South Magnumeans would be complaining that there was a judging error and that they should get number one because it was later determined to be flawed. (Gotta love the Olympics).

That the fun of it. Getting nailed into the lapbar repeatedly.

Yeah, Millennium Force was running all through the ceremony.

Great pictures once again, Walt. Then again, any photo of Cedar Point is great in some way or another...

While riding Magnum, if you keep your back off the seat back on the first drop and during the turnaround it's not "rough" at all. If you don't like getting thrown into the lapbar then tighten your seat belt as much as humanly possible. It's as simple as that.

It's not hitting tha lap bar that bothers me, I always hit my leg or knee on the car in front of me. I could probably cross my legs and tuck them back, but it's not as comfortable and I'd rather take the pain;).

If you sit in the front seat of any of the Magnum cars, the leg room improves drastically. The only time I'll cram into a seat that isn't in the front of a car is when I'm riding ejector seat.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Well, I love riding in the very back, so I'll just take it. I know on other rides the front is most spacious, like Corkscrew. Thank ya anway's.
