Thoughts on management position

I am a college student looking for a summer job next year. I just want to get out of the house mostly! My previous job i was the lead manager at a Detroit area nightclub. What are the chances of me getting placed in a management position at the point? Also what positions are available in the matience department. Also how do the living conditions compare with dorm life? (food, bathrooms, cleanliness)

i wouldn't expect anything higher than a staff lead. maybe supervisor after a few months. it also probably depends on the dept. i here you can move up pretty fast in foods if you take the time to become bronze and silver certified.

Im still on the fence, i want to get away from home, but it seems like working a ride would get extremly monotonous after a few months. Also what are living conditions like?

Dan, you don't have to work a ride...there are PLENTY of other jobs available at Cedar Point. If you visit their website they give a detailed list of all the positions.

The living conditions are, well...it's no palace, but I mean it's not bad. Space is kind of limited, but in my three years of living at the Point I never had a dirty dorm or apartment...it depends mostly on how well you and your roommates keep things clean and organizied.
