Just what is the height limit in Sandusky? Every city does have their height limits. It would absolutely suck if CP couldn't build to new heights anymore. It would add to their roller coaster "city".

Not sure what it is exactly, but I'm sure that any necessary variances would be passed for a new ride at CP just because of the positive effect that it would have on Sandusky and its economy. Look at how many more people TTD brought in that would not have normally come and spent money in Sandusky.

Cedar Point claims that 1/3 of the city of Sandusky's budget comes from Cedar Point. Add on a parking tax and hotel taxes from overnight stays, and the city takes in a lot of money because of the park. Of course C.P. still has to file for building permits and probably even has to go before a planning commission, but even so, C.P. seems to be able to build whatever they want. I don't know if there are height restrictions, but without a major airport nearby, there probably isn't.

Now that's cool. I believe that's one of the only cities that don't have height restrictions.

There's no way Sandusky would throw out all of the extra money that comes in from a record breaker just because a few people might not like the way it sticks way up in the sky. There is Griffin airport, but it's just a few small strips and the planes coming in don't have to cross the peninsula.

It's equally annoying when enthusiasts try to tell a ride host or other employee something that is completely wrong, and believe me, it happens a lot.

I think people need to understand that there are a lot of employees that work in the park and we like to gossip equally as much. So when something gets said some people dont think to check and see if it makes sense before they repeat what they heard. So guests should not believe everything they hear unless it came from upper management.

I have to agree with Vanessa that when you work the ride almost everyday and you really know how the ride operates its can be very annoying when enthusiasts try and tell you that your wrong when your information came from the makers of the ride.
