It seems that the trains were moving much much faster between and inside the stations this weekend.

I think your right Dan. I also noticed that today inside the station. I didn't time the launch intervals but they seemed very quick today.

Kudos to the crew today. they Rocked.. I swear it seemed to be launching every 40 seconds most of my visit. Wow.. It is not quite as fun in the cold though.. Can we say Windchill?

The ride and crew really were working nicely on Sunday. I don't think the ride was down the entire day.

About 1 or 2 p.m. it was about a minute interval but then the interval time did go down and got faster throughout the day it seemed.
Way to go Dragster Crew!

The small line that was there really did move, on one of my rides I made it through the entire last queue block in a little over 5 minutes. They're really getting this thing running smooth, which is a great sign for next year....it'll practically be a new ride without all of the downtime.

I only left the ride for about an hour to eat at the Midway Market. They did go down once when they had the rollback.

Dan, you're right, the trains are moving much faster and closer together now. But you'll only see that when the drive-wheels are dry and management has OK'd the use of that mode.

Ha! When I clicked on this topic I thought that you would be talking about the launch getting faster!

Once I did, this might seem weird but, I did see a train go 134!!! We only when 125 mph! :(

It seems the mechanics of the ride are improving, the ops are less worry-some about waiting to launch etc.

Well, I meant the operations as the system itself, but you can include the people.

How many trains are they operating? Five or all six?

The people in that train must have had some serious ejector air. Was it a windy day so that they wanted to make sure it made it over? Remember how they said that at 120 it rolls back, 121-122 makes it over and 123 they get a too fast warning. So do you think the speedometer was wrong, did it look like the train was going 134?

Whel we where standing right next to it right before they let people join the q. I still remember the date, July 9th around, for some reason I want to say 7:35.

I've seen trains go over 123 before and nothing really went wrong.

Didnt we already establish ( in an earlier forum) that the speedometer is only a prop and doesnt really show the accurate speed of the ride?

Actually MrFat, it is accurate. When it says 123, the train really did go 123.

I timed the intervel on friday and got a best intervel of 52 seconds. That equates to 1246 PPH.
