when did cedar become dorms?

Does anyone happen to know when Cedars became employee housing? I know that it opened in 1915, but when was it switched from the hotel to the dorms? Thanks! :)

Well, if I remember right from reading CPQOAWP, Cedars did house employees since the depression since the hotel was never full of guest. I think it was in the 40's or 50'd when the hotel was officially closed to guest. So unless they let it sit vacant it would probably be around then when it was officially converted to a dormitory.

They became dorms when the "condemed" sign was removed from the front entrance!
