Man, those picture just blew me away.
Those are great.
What is it that she is doing wrong [webmaster; scanning, saving?]
Hmmm, wondering what they set up for that shot, as far as film or digital and shutter release.

Chris, yes we do all make mistakes. Sandusky Bay is part of Lake Erie, therefore it is Lake Erie. Skooz is absolutly correct.

Low blow to the Webmaster... that's not very nice. It is strange that a 500K+ image has so many compression artifacts in it, though.
As far as the photo setup, well, I am fairly certain that CP photography god Dan Feicht himself was hanging from that crane, presumably with a 35mm camera.

Is Dan Feicht the kinda chunky guy that wears a beret hat and has a beard? I have seen this guy at tons of Live Entertainment shows with his camera with its huge lens.

I just said that because through out the official site a lot of the images are fairly blurry.
Whenever I save a scanned image I start by saving it as a .tif then re-save it as a .jpg or .gif. I works best for me to reduce all of the blemishes.

Dan Feicht is skinny, kind of tan. He has no beard. You can't have a beard if you work at Cedar Point. He has I think blond hair, and everytime that I'd see him he would be standing outside of the Marketing building by the Food warehouse smoking.

I think this thing will climax from the moment you pull up to the park and see it to the moment you stumble out of the park. The effect will probably last a while since we are not used to doing something this big. Me I lost my stomach back in July. I still get sick every time I think about it. I hoped this thing wouldn't ruin Paddlewheel Excursions but for a MINUTE When I saw these pics I thought "forget Paddlewheel Ride the biggest MF in the world". (By MF I mean Millennium Force of course:))

The reason that this guy maybe the official photographer and be allowed to wear a beard is because CP may be sub-contracting him to take the pictures for them. In other words, he is independently employed by himself, but CP calls on him not as an employee, but an outside business to do the service for them.

The guy has been working for the park for 20 years... that's no contract. He also has CP business cards (I have one of them).
Body... you'll be hot and bothered way before you pull up to the park. I could see it driving past the airport today on US 6.

I come from Detroit and take Highway 2. I can see it from the long bridge over there I am sure. I will have a half hour in between that and the time I get to the park. I really will not be able to see it untill I get ten minutes away becouse of all the patches of trees. Thats about when I can see Power Tower and Space Spiral.
Oh but I do have that half hour between the bridge and Sandusky. It will be hard no matter how small it will look from the bridge.

Size dosen't matter on Millennium Force! Those trains would scare the @!#$ out of me if I was on Mine Ride.

Dan Feicht, is the offical photo man for the Point. I have seen the other gentleman being discussed, and it has appeared he is just a big fan of the shows. I have seen him taking pictures and then sharing those pictures with the cast members. Any show people out there who can fill in more detail?
