Does coasterman24 have any idea how to use a period, or comma, so we can actually understand what he is saying instead of having to guess where his sentences end and start?

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

Dragster WILL be open on May 4th and for Media Day. Whether all 6 trains be be running by then is questionable.

The real question is, will it be good or bad weather?

Seriously for all you that are worried if it will be open or not Click here. That is a link to twisted rails. It contains photos from 4-20-02. And in those photos it shows that Xcelerator's track wasn't even complete by this time. Now before all you guys say yeah but Xcelerator opened just over a month and half after the scheduling opening of TTD. Now if you click here you can see that about a month before they opened Xcelerator they were still painting the station. Now i'm gonna assume that about a week or so they started with the kinda testing they are doing on TTD right now. Now assuming that they had 3 weeks to get all the testing done. Which a either about the same amount or shorter time that they have and will test TTD. Now with that I hope everyone will stop worrying about TTD being ready by May 1st (Media day)

What are the facts? The only true facts we have are the diary updates and web cams. Neither suggests that something is not going according to schedule. I think that when we do have a shred of facts to support the theory that TTD will not be ready by the 1st of May then this topic should be reopened. Coaster runner does have interesting proof of how a hydraulic coaster works. I think this is proof enough on how testing is done and how late tests CAN start. Please bring proof then start to worry.

Coaster King, you make and excellent point, but draw the wrong conclusion IMO. The last thing I would expect CP to do is announce a delay until they absolutely have too. The unusual lack of updates does cause one to wonder where we are in the process. Hopefully we will hear from Monty shortly.

Monty's last update was the 28th of March, we have waited a month between updates in the past. The next update more than likely will be the one saying that the ride is ready to go.

look at the webcam thread, everyone is really excited because they have finally sent a train over the top. Just more proof that they are right on time.

When i posted this, i didnt mean "will it be open or not?". i know it will be open im just asking "are they ahead or behind schedule?". I'm saying this because that is what some of you thought that that's what i meant i already know it will be open and ready on the 4th.

I believe that when cedar point sets a mark they reach it no matter what. The only way I see cedar point not opening the ride on the 1st of may is because of to cold of temperatures. Now I’m not calling myself an expert on hydraulics but I do know if it gets to cold the hydraulic will freeze, or something will freeze. I don’t know exact temperatures but I’m sure it won’t get that cold on the 1st or the 4th.
