What's the current housing situation?

I'm haring rumors that Bayside has filled up already. I really hope this isn't true, vause I really do NOT wanna live in Commons.
I'll be there on the 21st.

Yeah Bayside is full. My friend processed in last Friday and tried to move into Bayside. The lady there said that no one else can move into Bayside because the few rooms or apts left are reserved for Sups. Why they are doing that this year? I have no idea what so ever. So she had to move into Commons Apt until the first dorm opens up which is this Friday.

They did that last summer also at one point. My friend who was a Sup even had a hard time getting into Bayside last summer, housing gave her some story about how her dept. had to have reserved her room for her before she got there. And I know last summer housing said Bayside was supposed to be for Live E. and Sups only. Sometimes the housing people really annoy me.

Tell me about it CP Princess. I want to move in the 1300 building as soon as I get there and the lady Kathy in Commons lobby said that they won't open that building until last. They want to fill up the other dorms first. Man, what's the point??????

how hard will it be to get a dorm in commons? i get there on monday, will i be able to get one then?

Hi guys...Bayside is full and the Commons Apartments 900 and 1000 are full. 1500 opens Friday 18th with the rest to follow shortly.

Don't worry too much folks. You would be surprised how quickly spaces vacate in the first month or so as folks are weeded out because they don't take work seriously. Plus, when Cedars and Gold open up, people move on-Point (yes, it's true...some do prefer on-Point to off-Point housing -- for the $$$ and convenience).

If they reserve all the married housing for Live E, I'm gonna be ticked off. They say you can't RESERVE housing, and that married housing is for married couples. How about we just put it in the guidelines that Cedar Point is required to kiss the ice skaters' butts?

So much for equal enforcement of the rules, when I called them, they said we'd probably have to take a dorm because of the Live E's having so many rooms reserved.

I believe you have to be an area sup of some sort to be able to get into the reserved supervisor housing at Bayside (at least that's what my boss told me).

And nothing really sucks about Commons. If you've lived away at college then this will all be quite familiar to you.
