Question

For the cedar point uniform do i need to buy my own shoes and what kind or do i get them through wardrobe? And are the pants/shorts included with the uniform and if not, what kind do i need to get?

yes you do and you need to get shoes that are mostly white because the ones at wardrobe are very uncomfortable. i hope i helped answer your question

You will most likely need to get white shoes. Some work locations require shoes other than white shoes however, so check with the person who hired you before you go out and buy shoes. You will not need to buy shorts, but you will need to buy or provide a belt (possibly). And for the shoes, 90% white is what they say, for a pair of nike shoes, all white, with a the swoosh being a different color, or adidas, all white with the adidias stripes being another color. buy something that feels good as you will be standing up for a LONG LONG TIME.

The color of shoes you need depends on where you're working. Shawn is right that most jobs require white shoes. Others (for example, some food service positions -- Johnny Rockets and Coasters are the ones that come immediately to mind) want you to have all-black shoes. Check on your contract for the e-mail address of your manager, and send them an e-mail asking what they would recommend -- that's your best bet. Or, you can wait until you're in Sandusky...there's plenty of stores in the mall, plus Meijer and Wal-mart, where you would probably be able to find a good pair of shoes before you begin work.

Personally, I recommend buying a pair of shoes early... You can walk in them for a few weeks and break them in. Nothing is worse than pinching new shoes when you have to be on your feet all day!

You guys have it good at CP... WHITE TENNIS SHOES! If only KBF allowed anything other than black polishable shoes (boots) I'd not get a dozen blisters everyday I work. Hey, they're very cheap though, $13.

I know this question doesn't have to do with the uniform, but i didn't want to start a new topic. This is going to be my first summer at Cedar Point, and I'm supposed to be working on the Wiches Wheel. I was wondering if anyone knew how many people I would be working with, and if that would be the only ride I will be at this summer? Thanks
