New Paint Job??

im sorry about my question TTD, but i thought that it was understood that I knew I asked the question I mean come on, some people like me are very slow typers and dont want to type extra words. TTd you're apology is accepted its all good

I remember in the fall of 2001 I received an e-mail back from Monty Jasper that said Mantis, Mangum, and a small list of other rides (which we know now includes Wildcat, too) would be painted over the next few years.

Does the weather affect the decision on whether (he he) or not to paint a ride? I was under the impression that real cold temperatures make it really hard for paint to dry. This winter has been pretty frosty. Or do they just paint in the early spring?

I THINK IT IS GREAT THAT THE MANTIS IS GETTING A NEW PAINT JOB AND WILDCAT ALREADY GOT ONE THE OLD MANTIS WAS LOOKING PRETTY BAD!

If you look at the second of the new TTD images it appears the track on Iron Dragon got a coat of paint. If you look closely it looks like the columns are wrapped in plastic to prevent overspray getting on them. Just a speculation.
