As far as I can see, there is only one guess that was wrong by one vowel. There was one more that was wrong by one vowel and one consonant.

Stratocoaster = Stratacoaster
Collassalcoaster = Colossalcoaster

Well, I hope this is the end of the "mine is bigger than yours" coasters at CP for a while. Let's get back to the basics and build a great coaster that doesn't necessarily have to be the biggest, baddest.

I mean honestly, are we going to be arguing about what to call a 500 foot coaster in a few years? I, for one, hope not.

I don't think it will be "colossall coaster". Sounds too much like a Six Flags ride.

I kinda liked quadracoaster/quadrocoaster. Seeing it's 400+ feet, the quad- prefix fit.

I think I go with tetracoaster

not a metric prefix, but one I think would work.

These are all great ideas...some obviously put a lot of thought into theirs. I like the "strat(o/a)coaster" and "ultracoaster" names, myself. (I just have to keep the future English teacher in me from jumping out and making comments about the subtle difference between consonants and vowels -- beware if you enter high school in the next few years; I may see you in class!!). ^_^

I was gonna guess "metacoaster", but after seeing it, "stratacoaster" makes the most sense to me, since "into the stratosphere" is often mentioned when talking about great heights...then there's that tower in Las Vegas called Stratosphere.

I really could'nt think of a name BUT I would have to think that the name would reflect how "tall" the new ride is. I like Stratosphere BUT spelled "StratosFEAR" !!!

Hey Donnie, I think that sounds like a great name for the ride. I really like the whole "play on words/spelling" you have going on there. Nice one!

Hmmm, so would that be neon, cardinal, lemon, or black?

;)

Here you go Dougster,

A tetra is a kind of fish. I believe that the names (neon, cardinal, lemon and black) are the different kinds of tetra's available to buy.

"Great Space Coaster" would be awesome. Maybe they could have Gary Gnu announce the ride at a press announcement. After all, No Gnus is good Gnues with Gary Gnu.
