does anybody know if there is a video out there (not a no limits simulation) of the ride. Someone showed us that 3d thrills ride a ways back and that was great, but it was on a white backdrop and it was just out fo the station then over the top then it came down and blacked out before the break run. has anyone seen a video that is more than this?

The ride hasn't been announced yet. CP certainly isn't going to release a video until the ride is announced.

There is a video that someone made that simulates the ride, it is pretty dead on. I'll look for the link..

Those renderings are terrible. The support tower isn't even right, and we've known since August how that would look (i.e., direction of the diagonal pieces).

Jeff, can I invite you to create your own? ;)

If you want to create your own, first you've gotta own 3D Studio Max. Then you've gotta know how to use it. Simple as that. Sort of...

In all honesty, it's not easy to do. Creating and rendering scenes such as that takes enormous amounts of time.

I can't make a movie or write a song either, but that doesn't mean I'm not entitled to think they suck.

If you want high quality renderings and video, mosey on over to badnitrus.coasterbuzz.com

In my opinon, Keith and Mike are the most talented guys in the business. Their attention for detail, is insane...and many of them are from pictures. If anything, I think that their 3rd person videos are even better than their POV videos. They are way better than Intraxx.

Nada on the Badnitrus recreation...

The last time I took a look at the Badnitrus site, about a week ago, it hadn't been updated in quite a while and there was not a mention of any recreation of CP's #16.

Perhaps their renderings will be featured as part of the announcement for the ride. Otherwise, I would think that they would have some kind of recreation on their site. Their POV of Xcelerator was very well done. It would be sweet to see all the CP rides in the background of the ride.

Their POV of Millennium Force sucks. It looks like it comes of the track on the inverted turns.

It may seem like that, but I would still like to see a better recreation with that amount of detail. I havent seen anything better than that recreation.

The official rendering of Wicked Twister is very unaccurate. The supports, the train, and the landscaping are not accurate.

The Xcelerator POV is great.

ThePoint, his Millennium Force model was the first he ever did. It has a ton of detail, but he hadn't mastered the art of keeping the view the same the whole way through. As you said, the Xcelerator POV is great. Just look how far he's come in a short time. His Batman: Dark Knight was also very well done. That one, Phantom's Revenge, Talon, and S:UF are all official videos.

Those are done Proffesionally. Probably by the companies that acctually are making the ride. Or the designers.
