video

An interesting thing to be made into a video would be Twister: the ride at U.S. florida. i would like to see a video of that. if you have ever seen it, you know what i mean.cedar point should put one of those in for '04 =)

blasting off in 135 days......................

Intraxx and Badnitrus are the only one's I know that do videos. Badnitrus has done official videos for Six Flags, Kennywood, and Dorney Park. Intraxx did MF, and I believe WT's video.

I'm not sure who did the official X, Deja Vu videos...it could be Intraxx.

I didnt really like the WT video. Although it was nice, It needed something to spice it up a little. Like the X video, The music there was really nice.

Badnitrus told me in an email recently, that he is wating for more info on #16 before he does a model. As soon as he has what he needs, there will be one on the site!!

Those renderings are terrible. The support tower isn't even right, and we've known since August how that would look (i.e., direction of the diagonal pieces).

Jeff except for the lack of quad track at the very end of the ride (before the turnaround) and the very top of the tower, can you please point me as to what is so terribly wrong so I can fix it? As for the rest, like Montu stated it takes an enormous amount of time and effort, short of blood and tears. I try and pump as much detail as I can into what ride models and animations that I decide i'd like to try. As for #16 hopefully over break ill be doing a more updated version, so Jeff or anyone else if you have anything that would make my model more accurate please, feel free to email me: MPD47@rochester.rr.com

Here is what I did back in Mid October, which i feel was a fairly good assumption based on what was built back then. (And i feel like i was extremely accurate considering how much of the facts were known).

Ill add a link to the old video sometime this weekend when it gets back online to our videos server.

Don't you have the supports connecting from the side tower legs to the back tower leg the wrong way? I think that was one thing I saw that wasn't right.

Other than that, great detail with the ride. When you take time to add all the nuts and bolts on all the supports, it shows that you spent a lot of time on modeling it.

Look at the angle of the diagonal supports, you've got them going the wrong way. You should also consider reducing the motion blur. I said both in my previous post.

You should add some cool music to the video. Gives a better feeling when watching the video.

The official rendering of Wicked Twister is very unaccurate. The supports, the train, and the landscaping are not accurate.

The Xcelerator POV is great.

Low quality? I thought it was fantastic. Actually, I didn't know it was even here, a friend told me about it--he, too, thought that it was awesome. Good job, and thanks for sharing your talent with us!

That was the best thing yet on this coaster I have seen!! Great job!

no

low quality indeed

it doesnt even capture the speed of the coaster very well. dont get me wrong, no i cant do better, but compared to other videos like at http://badnitrus.coasterbuzz.com/coasters.asp its not a very good coaster video.

Yes, but Badnitrus won't do one till he gets everything he needs first....so for now IMO this is really good for a ride no one knows much about, and has never had the chance to ride yet!

no one knows much about

at least he could have got the supports the right way

Hey MPD47, first off, great work! I have a question. What application did you use to create the video? Thanks
